Daft Punk, Avicii and Calvin Harris nominated for Song of the Year

, Calvin Harris and Daft Punk are all representing dance music at the prestigious BMI Awards for the “Song of the Year“. BMI, which stands for Broadcast Music Inc., holds an annual awards ceremony to celebrate European songwriters that have written the most popular tracks on US TV and radio in the year leading up to the event. And to vie for this prestigious awards are Daft Punk‘s “Get Lucky“, Calvin Harris’ “Need Your Love” and Avicii‘s “Wake Me Up“. However they face tough competition from the likes of Ed Sheeran, Miley Cyrus, Passenger and the likes.
