San Francisco based trio The M Machine made an impressive start to their career in 2011 as they took dancefloors by storm with their hard-hitting brand of bass-infused house music. Known for their varied use of synthesizers in their sounds, the trio have been relatively quiet this year. But they return with full force with a brand new EP titled Just Be that shows their full range and control over their clinically mastered sound. Dropping out in 11th November on OWSLA, the trio unveiled the opening track ‘Just Be’, a juicy amalgamation of groovy bass lines with an interlace of R&B style vocals.
The track kicks off with a resurgent bassline and intricate percussion, as a cheeky vocal sample diverts your attention from the steadily building synth groove in the background. The result – a seemingly unpredictable bassline climbs up the drop and dictates the rest of the track and your dancing abilities! Check out the preview below and mark your calendars for the release date for the same.
