A Tsunami is soon about to hit India. No, this is not a weather forecast or warning. Canadian electro house, brother duo DVBBS (pronounced dubs) are all set to embark on a 2 city India tour in early November. The duo, which consists of Christopher van den Hoef and Alexandre van den Hoef, have had their stock rise since last year. after Tsunami, their collaboration with Borgeous, went massive and received support from DJs all around, ruling mainstage festival sets all over, becoming the most played track at Tomorrowland in 2013. They also released a vocal mix of Tsunami in collaboration with British rapper Tinie Tempah, rechristening it as Tsunami (Jump).
There has been no looking back for the duo post Tsunami, as they continued collaborating with artists and released bangers after bangers. Soon after Tsunami,DVBBS collaborated with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Borgeous for Stampede, which was again a massive hit and spent some time at the Beatport Top 100 charts.
2014 has seen them release 6 singles already, collaborating with the likes of Vinai, MOTi, Martin Garrix & Sander van Doorn and Joey Dale. Their collaboration with Martin Garrix & Sander van Doorn and vocalist Aleesia titled Gold Skies, was their biggest track of the year, being first played by Sander van Doorn at TomorrowWorld last year, while receiving support from the likes of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Tiesto, W&W, Avicii, Hardwell, Calvin Haris, Nicky Romero amongst others.
DVBBS have played alongside some of the biggest names in dance music right now, including Tiesto, Deadmau5, Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki and that too just at the age of 23 (Alex) and 24 (Chris). That’s pretty huge for a duo who just started out 2 years back. Their first solo single of 2014, We Were Young has been garnering support form the likes of Hardwell, R3hab, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Afrojack, Tritonal, Nicky Romero amongst others.
